About the Event
This fun interactive workshop is for adults (beginner naturalists, landowners, future volunteers for wildlife) who are interested in learning more about identifying birds and improving bird habitat. Participants will learn how to identify common breeding birds in our area, go on a birding walk, and then learn about habitat improvement for birds and build their own birdhouse to take home and install. Advanced registration required.
Cost: $20 per member; $35 per not-yet member or $50 for two people (bring a friend!). Limited to 25 people
What to bring
Bring a bag lunch and water, and wear comfortable hiking clothes and shoes. Bugspray and sunscreen also may be handy. If you have binoculars, bring them- we'll have some extras!
