About the Event

Come spend the morning in the fresh air with us and make a difference while you're at it! Help us reclaim our trails from invasive species to allow for easy passage for hikers and wildlife.

We'll teach you how to identify and remove European barberry and oriental bittersweet. It's a quick way to help clean up our trails and improve the overall health of our forest while enjoying the early summer weather.

What to bring

Tools and work gloves will be provided. Volunteers are recommended to bring snacks and water. Wear long pants and sleeves and closed-toed shoes for working in the woods. SPF and bug spray is recommended!

Youth Instructions

This opportunity is open to all ages. If you are under the age of 16, you must be accompanied by an adult.
