About the Event

Grasshopper Sparrows, a state listed species in Connecticut, have been breeding, yet declining, over the years at the Roberts Property Park in Bristol, CT. Invasive species removal has helped to create more nesting habitat at the property. Come and join us to continue removing invasives and secure more habitat so the grasshopper sparrows will continue to utilize this unique habitat. Co-sponsored by the City of Bristol Parks and Recreation Department.

What to bring

Workgloves, boots, sunscreen, insect protection (think ticks), and drinking water.
