About the Event
Pollinator Pathways NH will be co-hosting a final on-site event in Dover, NH with Ken and Leslie Herd. The Herd family has been planting and growing native plants, battling invasives, raising honeybees, and cultivating berries since 2017 at their 6 acre homestead. They are active with the Dover Open Lands Committee and have held “Pollineighbor” events for their community there.
Leslie will teach her three-step process for starting native plants from seed. Also learn how to prep soil without digging, using cardboard or leaves, mulch or compost, and learn her secrets for humanely keeping deer, rabbits and other varmints out of plant beds.
The event will finish with a tour of her gardens. The rain date is September 25.
