About the Event
Get ready for the 2nd annual Audubon Nature Challenge! Join people all over New Hampshire documenting birds, mammals, insects, reptiles, amphibians, flowers, trees, mosses, mushrooms, and everything else during this weeklong conservation event. Explore on your own or join one of our guided tours like this one in Nashua.
Join Nashua Conservation Commission officer Carol Sarno and Project Manager Anita Fernandez on this guided tour of the sanctuary. We will be utilizing iNaturalist and eBird to documents species both seen and heard during this group outing. You do not need any experience with these data collection platforms to participate (cell phones, cameras, and binoculars are all encouraged to bring). Please be prepared for the weather and dress for trail conditions that could included exposed roots, uneven terrain, and trail sections with standing water. There is also the possibility of encountering biting insects.
Please park in the lot of the Nashua Church of Christ at 97 Farley Rd. and gather at the trailhead kiosk. This tour will be limited to 15 participants so please be sure to register.
By attending this event, you and anyone you register on behalf of agree to NH Audubon’s Outdoor Education Program Liability Release & Agreement Waiver.
