Join us in harvesting native dune vegetation to restore fragile habitat in Hampton, NH! Dunes are such an important asset to our coastline. They provide habitat for wildlife, and protect our communities from flooding, sea level rise, and coastal erosion.

On this first of two workdays (April 4 and 5), we will meet at Hampton Beach State Park and harvest plants from the community garden. These plants will be used to restore dunes during a planting workday scheduled for the following day, April 5, at Plaice Cove in Hampton (sign up separately). Come learn about dunes, get sandy, and have fun!
