About the Event
Help create habitat for rabbits!
Volunteers will help plant native shrubs and manage invasive species to restore healthy shrubland habitat for shrub-dependent wildlife and pollinator species. Activities will include digging holes, planting plants, and pulling invasive plants, if desired. This event will run from 9am-3pm. Volunteers are invited to stay for as long or as short as they'd like.
What to bring
Volunteers should bring closed-toed footwear, water, and sun protection (hat, long pants, long sleeved shirt). Insect repellent, sunscreen, gardening/work gloves will be provided, but volunteers are invited to bring their our outdoor gear if they have it. Shovels will be provided.
Youth Instructions
This is a family friendly event; however, it is outdoors with the potential for uncomfortable weather and biting or stinging insects. Youth under 14 years should have direct supervision.
