About the Event

What animals, trees, shrubs, and fungi live in our town forest? Join us to find out and help us document it as part of the statewide NH BioBlitz. We’ll explore, identify and document the plants and animals in East Kingston's Town Forest.

Meet at the East Kingston Town Office at 24 Depot Rd. We'll do a quick iNaturalist training, using your smartphone and the iNaturalist App, and then drive to East Kingston’s Town Forest. Due to limited parking, family members are asked to carpool if possible.

The BioBlitz event, hosted by the East Kingston Conservation Commission (EKCC), is free. No registration is required.

As a COVID-19 safety precaution, the program will be held outdoors and we will maintain 6' distancing. If you have not been vaccinated, please wear a mask at all times.

Rain Date: Saturday, Sept. 25 at 9am (same location).
