About the Event
Are you a volunteer responsible for monitoring conservation easements for your town or local land trust? Join Emma Tutein and Sara Callaghan from UNH Extension to learn the ins and outs, and best practices for performing annual monitoring of easements. We’ll spend time indoors learning before heading outside to put your new skills to work in the field exploring parts of the conservation easement at Sanborn Mills Farm.
To ensure this program is accessible for all there are three registration fee options - $10, $20 or $30. Please pay what you can.
Co-sponsored by: the NH Association of Conservation Commissions
If you need an accommodation to participate in our programming, please contact Emma Tutein (emma.tutein@unh.edu, 603-355-2748) prior to the event. Given ample time, we will make any reasonable effort to meet your needs, including language access services if requested, which will be provided free of charge.
What to bring
Lunch, your own compass if you have one you use for monitoring (but we’ll bring plenty of extras if you don’t), a water bottle, appropriate clothing/footwear for time outdoors rain or shine.
