About the Event

Do you know who "the pollinators" are? Not quite sure why we need them or how you can help? We'll discuss the benefits of pollinators (hint: chocolate, coffee, blueberries) and how we can restore beneficial pollinator habitat in our own yards. We'll then break into groups armed with helpful pollinator handouts and native plant catalogs, and come up with strategies for spring planting. Refreshments will be served. Snow date is Sat., March 28 (same time and place).

Pollinator Pathways NH is a cross-town, community-based effort to restore habitat, one yard at a time. More than 260 properties and eight Conservation Commissions - Chester, East Kingston, Epping, Kingston, Newton, Newmarket, Raymond, and Rye - support the effort. Join Pollinator Pathways NH at pollinatorpathwaysnh@gmail.com and follow them on Facebook at PollinatorPathwaysNH.
