About the Event

Help us build habitat for New England cottontail rabbits! We will be planting native shrubs, managing invasive species, trimming young trees to promote new growth, and building brush piles.

What to bring

Closed-toed shoes are required. Long pants, sun protection, and water are strongly encouraged. Gardening or work gloves are helpful if you already own them. Biting insects may be present.

Youth Instructions

All ages are invited to participate in this event. We will be located in the woods near a tidal river and parental supervision for young children is required. Activities will include digging holes for planting native shrubs and using loppers and hand-held saws for habitat improvement. Biting insects may be present.
