Join Atkinson Conservation Commission for the second part in our program "Invasive Plants Got You Down? Learn What to Do About It." This will be a field day in which we get hands on with invasive plants. We'll learn what they look like in depth and compare them with native plants, all while pulling some and helping the native plant population. This event will be held rain or shine so dress accordingly (layers, boots, gloves, hats, bug spray, sunscreen). Bring your own water. No bathroom on site. Held at Caroline Orr Town Forest in back of Atkinson Community Center - 4 Main Street, Atkinson, NH 03811. Registration required, space is limited.
