About the Event

Are you curious about the different plants, wildlife, insects, and other species that live around you? Join the Nottingham Conservation Commission to explore alongside experts to identify and learn about the species that live in Nottingham! You can come for a guided walk with experts (details below), to explore booths from local organizations or see hands-on presentations on native turtles, raptor, plants, and more.

A BioBlitz is a one-day nature scavenger hunt where people explore alongside scientists and field experts to find as many different plants, wildlife, insects, fungi, and other species on a property as possible. Meet experts, learn more about the natural resources in Nottingham - everyone is welcome!

You’re welcome to come for the whole day or join specific events below.
