About the Event

Road strikes are one of the greatest threats to turtles. Learn about all seven species of NH turtles and their habitats, highest-ranked threats, conservation actions to protect rare turtles, and how the public can help. Presenter Joshua Megyesy, Wildlife biologist with the NH Fish & Game Department’s Nongame and Endangered Wildlife Program, will be available for questions and bring turtle flyers, stickers, and other nongame materials. East Kingston attendees will have the opportunity to sign up to place turtle crossing signs at 8 locations in town.
