About the Event

The fall color is showing at the Wetlands Walk boardwalk and pollinator gardens at Gunstock. Thurs, Oct 17 and 19, 9am to noon are the next Morning Maintenances. If you can participate for all three hours on Saturday, please preregister by 10/17 either by sending an email to bccdvolunteer@gmail since pizza is being provided by Gilford House of Pizza for a limited number.

On Thursday there will be the usual beverages and snacks and times are flexible since no lunch provided.

To see the area go to www.gunstock.com/community and select the Belknap County Conservation District, then Boardwalk.

Tasks include: sweeping the boardwalk, adding woodfiller, priming and painting the bumper for the visually impaired, installing "Buy a Board" plaques, removing invasive weeds, removing moss and lichen from boardwalk and minor carpentry. The pollinator gardens need weeding and trimming for winter. . Community Service Certificates are available. Just follow the volunteer signs.

To visit any time, walk ¼ mile from the parking lot just off Rt 11A (on right). For more information, call the Belknap County Conservation District office at 603-527-5880 or Jan, volunteer, at 603-707-9760.
