Come and learn to identify and remove invasive plants of eastern Massachusetts! The training will start with an overview of the defining characteristics of many invasives. Then, these new skills will be brought to a nearby trail. After this training, you will receive supplemental materials online to help you retain what you learned about the invasive plants covered during the program. Participants of this training will be welcome to join Sudbury Valley Trustees' new Weed Warrior Program. After volunteers are trained and certified, they can become a Weed Warrior. A Weed Warrior visits select SVT reservations independently or in small groups to remove invasive plants on their own schedule. This program is free. Face masks are required. Limit of 11 people.
