About the Event
This event is great for volunteers interested in easements and/or conservation methods.
This in-person panel discussion and Q&A at the East Kingston Town Library features a conservation easement experts:
- Hal Bodwell, a former dairy farmer and conservation easement owner who has conservation easements in both East Kingston and Kensington
- Duane Hyde, Land Conservation Director at Southeast Land Trust of New Hampshire (SELT), which has conserved tens of thousands of acres, including Bodwell Farm and Monahan Farm.
As an attendee and participant, you will…
- See a bird’s eye view of East Kingston, including unique natural features that make East Kingston so special;
- Hear how Hal Bodwell and his family conserved their land;
- Learn about the process for and benefits of a conservation easement.
Following panelists’ opening remarks, the majority of the program will be an interactive discussion and Q&A. Bring your questions! Masks are required. Registration is NOT required. Hosted by the East Kingston Conservation Commission.
