About the Event
SVT's Cowassock Woods in Framingham is surrounded by the larger Ashland Town Forest. Together they provide over 600 acres of habitat and recreational trails. The first quarter-mile section of trail is badly overgrown with invasive plants including garlic mustard and burning bush, and is littered with the remains of fallen trees. There is poison ivy in places so long sleeves and gloves are recommended. Please register for further details of this event.
The parking lot at Cowassock Woods can only fit 5 cars, so volunteers will be shuttled there from the larger parking lot down the road.
What to bring
Please bring a refillable water bottle and work gloves if you have them.
Youth Instructions
All youth volunteers must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that poison ivy is prevalent along the trail.
