About the Event
Although Otter Brook Preserve is one of our quieter lands open to visitors, it is our largest preserve in southwestern New Hampshire with 5 miles of maintained trails! Otter Brook spans 1,300 acres of the Andorra Forest and has very important wetland and riparian habitats perfect for bear, moose, beaver, black ducks, and so many more species. Come enjoy this quiet but expansive preserve and help to maintain the trails to ensure that they are safe and clear for all that discover this hidden gem!
What to bring
Please bring brightly colored clothing for high visibility, hiking boots, snacks, water, and any hand tools you'd like to use. Bonus points if you have a chainsaw safety certification! We'll provide hand tools, work gloves, trail signs, and paint for refreshing trail signs.
