About the Event
Tune in for the “Working for Clean & Healthy Lakes” Webinar Series
New Hampshire is home to nearly 1,000 lakes and ponds. While our state boasts some of the cleanest and healthiest lakes in the country, they face many threats. This is a weekly, four part series.
The good news is that the spread of invasive plants—like milfoil—from lake to lake in New Hampshire has slowed over the years. But, the bad news is, the spread of invasive animals—like the Asian clam and the Chinese mystery snail—in our lakes in on the rise. Tune in to this session to find out why invasive species are a problem and what is being done to prevent their spread—and how you can help!
Other upcoming webinars include:
July 22, How Healthy are NH's Lakes?
July 29, Loon Monitoring and Recovery in NH
These webinars are hosted by NH LAKES and are FREE, but pre-registration is required and space is limited.
