About the Event
Join Sullivan County's Education and Outreach Specialist, Dawn Dextraze, and the Upper Valley Land Trust, as they lead a program about monarch life cycles as part of the 2023 International Monarch Monitoring Blitz, July 26 – August 4, 2024! During this event we will actively search milkweed plants for monarch eggs, caterpillars and adults. Observations will be recorded on data sheets and uploaded into the Mission Monarch database.
What to bring
All equipment will be provided and most can be taken home with you. Please wear long pants and sunscreen/ bug spray and bring water and some snacks. Bring your lunch and have a picnic afterwards if you like.
Youth Instructions
Children under the age of 18 are welcomed at this event, but must be accompanied by an adult.
