About the Event

Join the York Land Trust for an engaging and educational event focused on identifying and managing aggressive invasive plant species. These opportunistic plants are found in various locations, from roadsides and backyards to forests and fields. Discover how these plants arrived and why their removal is crucial. This hands-on event will provide you with the knowledge and skills to tackle these invasive species effectively.

Meet in the Highland Farm Parking lot. This workday is free and open to the public with registration.

What to bring

Please come prepared with work gloves, sturdy shoes that can get muddy, long sleeves, pants, and bring water. We will provide all necessary tools and materials. The event will proceed rain or shine.
