About the Event
Join York Land Trust learn to confidently identify and remove two notoriously aggressive invasive plant species: multiflora rose and glossy buckhorn. These two plant species are opportunists who can be seen everywhere from roadsides and backyards to forests and fields. How did they get here and why do they need to be removed? Join us and learn more during this active, hands-on event! Meet at the YLT office, and we will carpool to a limited access property off of Mill Ln. This workday is open to the public, but registration is required.
What to bring
Participants should come prepared wearing work gloves, closed-toed shoes, long sleeves and pants, and shoes suitable for hiking. Bring water and layers as needed. Tools and materials will be provided.
