About the Event

Join lovers of Fort Foster to help free the trees and preserve native habitat for our spring babies. Help us cut back the Bittersweet to make room for our new baby fox, beaver, deer, porcupine, possum, rabbits, ducks, birds, bees, butterflies and all the creatures that make FF their home.

Snipping Bittersweet vines is easy, fun, and it means the world to our wildlife. Enjoy the beautiful shore and feed your soul during our Bittersweet Blitz on Saturday, March 25th. We'll meet in the parking lot inside the park at 10am, but, you can join us any time between 10 and 4pm.

It's free, it's fun and anyone can do it. No experience needed, All ages are welcome. Come join us and make some new friends. You may learn some park history, see some wildlife, learn about invasive plants, and get some exercise. No preregistration required.

Rain dates: Sunday 3/26 and Sunday 4/2.
