About the Event

Spring is in the air, and that means it’s time to get dirty! In celebration of Arbor Day, join Northeast Wilderness Trust and Friends of the Wapack for tree planting at the Binney Hill Preserve in New Ipswich, NH. This is event is free, open to the public, and family-friendly! With guidance from Northeast Wilderness Trust Stewardship Director, Shelby Perry, and Southern New England Land Steward, Joe Falconeiri, we will plant a variety of native tree seedlings from the New Hampshire State Nursery in an area that was used as a log landing by prior owners. Your efforts will help to re-wild this property for the benefit of nature and people.

Here’s what you need to know: Please RSVP so we know you’re coming! Exact meet-up location will be provided after registration, but be aware there is a short uphill hike required to get to the site. Thanks and see you at Binney Hill on April 27th!
