About the Event

Join us for our annual invasive management day at the Barber Reservation off of Western Avenue. Meet at the Barber Barn at 8:30 AM for coffee and snacks before we set off to start our work. Work will continue through the day so don't fret if you can't be there at 8:30. We will be removing invasive species in an effort to keep our woodlands native and wild. The Barber Reservation is home to countless native and ecologically important flora and fauna species in a diversity of habitats, so help us protect this valuable resource. If you have any questions or are interested in volunteering to work with us please call or email.

What to bring

Wear clothing appropriate for working outside, we recommend long pants to guard against poison ivy. Bring along your work gloves and gardening tools if you've got them, water bottles, sunscreen, and bug spray.
