Why Training?

Training for volunteers in stewardship and citizen science topics is valued by both volunteers (learn a new skill!) and by partners (see report). Nature Groupie supports volunteer training through three avenues:

	Upcoming Trainings Check the events calendar to find training opportunities in stewardship, citizen science, and volunteer skills.
	Training Guides Training materials on a variety of stewardship topics such as invasive plants, easement monitoring for volunteers, how to lead a nature walk, and more. Available for free download by conservation partners and volunteers.
	Training Programs for Volunteers Link to existing volunteer training programs in New Hampshire and neighboring states, which offer in-depth workshops and skill-building hosted by many different conservation organizations.
