Emma Tutein

Extension Field Specialist in Natural Resources and Land Conservation

Emma works with land owners, towns and land trusts to provide outreach and technical assistance related to land conservation, educational outreach, and stewardship and management of conserved lands. She is particularly interested in engaging people on public lands, as Emma believes that if more people get out and use public lands in new ways, whether hiking on trails, mountain biking, volunteering to remove invasive plants, or attending a nature walk, we can build more public support for land conservation. She hopes to find new ways to get people out and enjoying the open spaces we have here in New Hampshire, while also helping communities and land trusts to protect even more land. Emma is based out of the UNH Extension offices in Rockingham County, but also works statewide, and is a member of the Nature Groupie team.
