About the Event
Do you love trails? Do you want to help to improve them? Do you identify as a Woman? If yes, then we have a women's-specific volunteer opportunity for you as part of the annual Monadnock Trails Week!
This project is led by women (professional trail builders) for women as an affinity space to come together and accomplish a massive project. The trails of Mount Monadnock are by-and-large maintained by volunteers. This project, as part of the greater Monadnock Trails Week, is focused on a stretch of the White Arrow Trail.
Strewn with loose jagged boulders, this intrepid group of women will bust rocks, rearrange the chaos, and create a well-draining treadway that is pleasant to walk on and easy for visitors to identify utilizing hand and power tools plus lots of teamwork.
Your efforts will not go unnoticed - Mount Monadnock seeks 100,000+ visitors annually. Please sign up today to reserve a space with the Women of the White Arrow.
All Trails Week volunteers will receive a pair of Monadnock/Forest Society work gloves as well as discounts with participating local businesses.
