About the Event
A small population of wild chervil growing in several fields and needs to be nipped in the bud or else this invasive plant will take over these vibrant meadows. We will dig the plants out using hand shovels and pile them on site to rot under a trap to prevent them from going to seed.
What to bring
Please wear long pants, long-sleeve shirt, and sturdy shoes. Bring work gloves, water, snacks, and sun protection. GMC will provide shovels, tarps and other gear.
Youth Instructions
Youth volunteers are accepted, as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
