About the Event
Join the Town of Kittery, Maine and the Kittery Land Trust in a day-long effort at improving the buffer along the headwaters of Spruce Creek. Volunteers will be guided on how and where to plant 600 native shrubs and trees along the streambank running through Rustlewood Farm on Wilson Road in Kittery. No prior experience is necessary, just a willingness to help out and have fun! Volunteers are welcome to participate for any portion of the day they are able to.
What to bring
Please come prepared with boots, gloves, a shovel or hand trowel if possible and any food/drink you may need for the time you are able to volunteer. Carpooling is highly recommended.
Youth Instructions
Must be 18 to volunteer for this project for town liability reasons.
