About the Event
Join Squam Lakes Association (SLA) staff and Lakes Region Conservation Corps for a day of spring cleaning! Help clear trails, rake campsites, and install swim lines to prepare for summer. Afterward, celebrate with a BBQ back on campus. Be the first on Moon and Bowman Island this season—lend a hand and make it our best summer yet!
Day of event details
- 8:30am - 9am | Breakfast & meet in the SLA Great Room
- 9am - 9:30am | Go over tasks, split into groups, load supplies
- 9:30am – 4pm | Boat to sites, work, boat back
- 4pm – 5pm | Unload equipment, grill & hang out!
What to bring
Volunteers should bring layers, water, snacks, and comfortable footwear.
Youth Instructions
Youth volunteers are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
