About the Event

Help York Land Trust stewardship staff complete the boardwalk project at Smelt Brook Preserve! We’ll finish repairing bog bridges along soggy sections of the trail to improve safety and accessibility. Light carpentry will be involved, and we will provide the necessary tools. Feel free to bring your own hand tools if you have them. No prior experience is required; all are welcome!

Meet at the Highland Farm Preserve parking lot at 321 Cider Hill Road. This workday is free and open to the public with registration.

What to bring

Please bring closed-toed shoes, work gloves, water, and dress for the weather, as this event will take place rain or shine.

Youth Instructions
