We'd like to extend a warm invitation to you and or your group to participate in Salem, New Hampshire's Town Forest Maintenance Day! This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the health and beauty of our local natural spaces and to connect with fellow nature enthusiasts. Salem's Town Forest is a valuable community asset, providing residents with recreational opportunities and vital habitat for wildlife. To ensure its continued health, we're organizing a maintenance day on May 10th from 9:30 to Noon. We'll be focusing on tasks such as: Trail clearing and maintenance Removing invasive species Picking up litter and debris Potentially, other tasks as needed, determined closer to the date. Your group's passion for nature and hands-on experience would be a tremendous asset to this effort. We believe this would be a rewarding experience for your members, allowing them to: Make a tangible difference in their community. Learn about local ecosystems and conservation efforts. Enjoy a day outdoors with like-minded individuals. Foster a deeper connection with Salem's Town Forest. We will meet at 48 Shadow Lake Road, across from Shadow Lake and parking is adjacent to the NH Dept. of Transportation Salt Storage Shed at 9:30 AM on Saturday, May 10th.
