About the Event
In the second of a series of informal, onsite conversations, visit the beautiful gardens at Kingston Community Library and see which plants pollinators prefer. Herb Society of America President Rie Sluder and beekeeper and gardener Ellie Coffin will show us some common herbs and perennial plants which attract honeybees, native bees, hummingbirds, bats, moths and butterflies alike. Share your observations and experiences and bring questions for Rie, Ellie, and other Pollinator Pathways members. Rain date is Thursday Sept. 12.
What to bring
We'll be outside walking on level ground around the gardens. Dress for the weather and bring insect repellent, water and a clipboard and something with which to write if you'd like to take notes.
Youth Instructions
Children are welcome with adults.
