About the Event

Join us we install a brand new pocket pollinator garden at Bakersville Elementary to be enjoyed not only by native pollinators such as monarchs and bumblebees, but students, faculty, and the public as well.

Tasks include: prepping the bed (edging, removing lawn), amending soil (adding loam and compost), planting native shrubs and perennials), and mulching.

What to bring

Gloves, sunscreen, and water: highly advised Shovels, rakes, tarps, garden buckets, wheel barrel: encouraged if available
