About the Event
Volunteer with NCCC AmeriCorps members for a day of trail work on Old Bridle Path up to West Rattlesnake. Volunteers are asked to arrive at 9AM but can leave any time during the day with work for the day ending at 4PM. The work involves moving heavy rocks, timbers and bags of dirt, digging holes, and crushing rocks. Volunteers may hike anywhere from 1-3 miles over the course of the day.
What to bring
Volunteers should bring closed toed shoes, long pants, water, and lunch.
Youth Instructions
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
