About the Event
Non-native upland invasive plants pose a serious threat to NH’s natural environment. This training is designed to provide attendees with a foundation on how to conduct effective upland invasive plant management, including an overview of techniques, planning resources, tools available and case studies. Attendees will attend presentations, learn from colleagues, experts and each other, and attend an afternoon field tour of an invasive plant management site. This training is designed for people with a strong interest and some experience in natural resources stewardship, including foresters, land trust staff, natural resource professionals, municipal staff, private landowners, and active community volunteers.
