About the Event

Join ecologists Karen Seaver and Brett Amy Thelen for a morning of invasive plant removal along the edges of the Harris Center woods and fields. Learn how to identify some of the common invasive plants you might find in your own yard or woodlot, then experience the satisfaction of pulling them up by their roots. Many hands make light work — and, hopefully, more room for native plants to thrive!

10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Harris Center. For more information, including questions about accessibility, contact Brett.

What to bring

Bring water, thick work gloves, and loppers or hand pruners, and come prepared for biting insects.

Youth Instructions

Youth volunteers are welcome, but must be accompanied by a family member.
