About the Event
Get your hands dirty removing invasive species from Parker River National Wildlife Refuge! Learn plant ID and manual management techniques, while helping cut and pull invasive woody plants including oriental bittersweet and morrow honeysuckle surrounding Parker River NWR Headquarters. Whether you have experience or are looking to learn something knew, this meet up is for you!
In collaboration with Mary-Ellen Dixon, Woody Invasive Plant Specialist.
Rain date will be scheduled for 1/12/2025 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.
What to bring
Wear sturdy shoes and clothes you do not mind getting dirty. Please bring work gloves, plenty of water and bypass loppers if you have them!
