About the Event
Composting and wood chipping our garden beds and perimeter so that veggies will be well-fed and gardens will be more weed free for the whole season! We will offer snacks and drinks. Extra points for whoever brings a fun gardening music playlist to entertain us!
Park in the main parking area that is situated between the red barn, white house, and pole barn (returning CSA members - usual spot) All are welcome - all ages! We have many garden tasks that can be tailored to different levels of physicality/interest. If the weather is bad, we'll have a rain date of Sunday, 4/7 from 9am-12pm.
What to bring
Bring water bottles (we'll have additional water there)
Wear close toed shoes and bring layers.
BYO spade shovel if you have one. We're likely to do a lot of composting and wood chipping in the gardens, so those tools will be our best friends on this day! If you have a wheelbarrow to bring along for the day, that's great too, but we have many!
Youth Instructions
All ages welcome. Youth (under age 15) are welcome with parents.
