About the Event
Join the Durham Conservation Commission, Land Stewardship Subcommittee, and community volunteers as we continue to enhance the trails, bridges, and other aspects of Durham's 87-acre Doe Farm, situated on the shores of the National Wild & Scenic Lamprey River. We will build a couple bike and pedestrian-friendly bridges, brush back trails, install sign posts, and pull a few invasive glossy buckthorns.
What to bring
Participants should dress appropriately: long pants, long sleeves, and appropriate footwear and bring work gloves, insect repellent, and water bottle. We will provide all necessary tools, snacks, and water.
Youth Instructions
Best for volunteers 12 years and older. Any participant under the age of 18 must have an adult accompany them.
