About the Event
Do you want to help others learn about wildlife and natural resources? This training will provide you with the basics of planning and delivering a wildlife presentation. No public speaking experience is necessary!
Speaking for Wildlife volunteers have access to presentations, equipment (laptops, projectors, etc.), handouts, books and other materials to support your talk. You’ll get support from County Extension staff, tips on public speaking, training on how to use presentation equipment, and other practical advice.
Current presentations include:
- A Garden for Wildlife
- New Hampshire’s Wild History
- NH Bugs: The Big Three
- Birds, Bats & Butterflies
- Natural Communities of NH
- Bats and White Nose Syndrome
- New Hampshire's Reptiles and Amphibians
Participants in this free training should be willing to commit to giving at least one presentation in the next year. It’s fun, and we promise you’ll feel prepared after this workshop!
Funding for the Speaking for Wildlife program is provided in part by NH FIsh & Game Department.
