About the Event

Please join the PACE-sponsored Water Chestnut PULL CAMPAIGN to hand-pull these invasive plants from Grove Pond. There is a job for everyone- on water and on the shoreline! We also have some canoes to loan, for those who don't have them.

BOAT GUIDES & LAND GUIDES will be given training on Thur. June 30, 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. You will then be able to help direct other volunteers in early July. Sign up and more info here.

ALL OTHER VOLUNTEERS will help PULL & STACK on the shoreline Water Chestnut plants from July 7 to 10. Sign up and see more info below. Please SIGN UP for as many dates and time slots as you are able - this is going to be a big (and really necessary) job! JSYK, you and your boat will get muddy!

See more info on water chestnuts here. Thank you!
