About the Event

The Educational Gardens at Branch Hill Farm are a model space for how learning and living occurs in a sustainable world. We believe there are particular ways of being that we must cultivate if the Earth is to sustain and thrive. Cooperation, communication, grit, compassion, teamwork, and gentleness are just a few of these ways of being, and we seek to model them every day in the gardens. Come get your hands dirty while connecting with community, enjoying the outdoors, and helping us tend the gardens!

What to bring

*Appropriate clothing and footwear for Fall farm work *Gardening gloves (we also have plenty of extra) *Baseball cap or sunhat *Water and Lunch/Snacks

We love young people!!! If you are under age 13, you must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at the farm for your first visit. (11-12 year olds may be welcome independently after the first visit if appropriate). Those aged 13+ are welcome to participate in volunteer hours without a parent/guardian.
