About the Event
This is a hands-on workshop to learn the proper method for pruning trees to promote healthy growth and maintain the shape of the tree. Topics include which tools to use, what branches to remove, where to make the cuts and how to determine the health of the tree. This workshop is free.
What to bring
Bring a set of pruners and gardening gloves if preferred. Plan to assist with pruning trees on the grounds of the Urban Forestry Center.
