About the Event

Moose Mountains Regional Greenways is a growing land trust located in Brookfield, Wakefield Milton, Union, Farmington, New Durham, Middleton, Wolfeboro, Tuftonboro and Ossipee. We are searching for dedicated individuals who love the outdoors and want to spend some of their time monitoring our conservation easement properties!

This workshop will train on everything you need to know about being a land steward volunteer, from the importance of conservation easements and monitoring to how to read a survey. This workshop will be split in two locations. The first half will be spent inside learning about conservations easements and how to properly monitor them and the second half will be spent at the Casey Road Conservation Area putting your new skills to the test!

What to bring

Warm clothes, hiking shoes, walking sticks(if needed), water, lunch, compass (if you have one) Coffee and Donuts will be provided in the morning.
