About the Event
Our fragile and beautiful coastal marshes need help from volunteers to stay healthy! Come join Nature Groupie staff and interns to hand-pull Perennial Pepperweed, an invasive plant that is known from only a few locations in New Hampshire. You'll learn how to ID the plant and simple tips for pulling it. We guarantee scenic beauty and fun people (we could also guarantee good exercise and mosquitoes!). But did we mention the fun?
What to bring
Sturdy boots - rubber or hiking are best, a water bottle, sun hat, long sleeves and pants and bug dope if you prefer (yes, there will be bugs). We'll supply gloves and bags!
Youth Instructions
Youth over 16 are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
