About the Event

Volunteers are needed to set up the day before and help the annual Woods, Waters and Wildlife Festival (WWW) run smoothly! Volunteers sign up for one or more two-hour shifts working at diverse tasks, including directing cars to park, moving hay bales, preparing Nature's Playground, selling food or raffle tickets, helping kids have fun with arts and crafts, setting up tents and tables, helping event presenters, painting kids faces, and lots of cleanup. Helpers will have time to explore some festival events (free admission) and will be invited to Moose Mountains Regional Greenway's (MMRG’s) Volunteer Appreciation Day later in 2019

The WWW Festival is a celebration of New Hampshire’s natural world and rural life and an opportunity for families to get outside and have fun together. Festival events encourage adults and children to love and care for nature, encouraging a new generation of conservationists. The WWW Festival is MMRG’s biggest annual outreach event, a way to inform people about the importance of conserving our natural resources.

What to bring

Volunteers should bring a refillable water bottle and a hat. They will get a comp ticket for their choice of delicious donated homemade salads. Hot grilled foods, ice cream and smoothies will be on sale.

Youth Instructions

Individuals, small groups, and larger groups are all welcome but group leaders should contact MMRG Education Coordinator Kari Lygren about how they can best fit in. If youth are under 18, they need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
