About the Event
Ossipee Lake Road is home to our Ossipee Pine Barrens which are the last intact pitch pine and scrub oak woodlands in the state. While you may have visited the Accessible Trail or Jackman Ridge Trail before which are along this road, there are also many tracts of land that are used for prescribed burns that we will pass while walking along and cleaning up litter. Come experience this globally rare ecosystem while creating a positive impact!
What to bring
Please bring comfortable shoes for walking, water, and work gloves (don't worry, we have extras).
